TIP #2 - Stick to a theme.
By doing this, you won't confuse your visitors. Examples, can be animals or a site about volleyball. Don't have a blog on one
page and a fact file about seals in Antarctica. You shouldn't have a different layout on a different page for the same reason.
TIP #3 - DoN't TyPe LiKe DiS!
Use proper language. It doesn't matter if you use a shortcut that everyone knows. But if you TyPe LiK DiS then it is very annoying. People get impatient and won't read
whatever you wrote. You also shouldn't swear much cause then people get offended and uncomfortable and refuese to come back again.
TIP #4 - Have good contents (that are made yourselves).
This means no nude, personal or offensive things. To have people coming back and back again, you must have good nad interesting contents! But NEVER STEAL anyone else's contents without permission. It is okay
to put up something that is made especially for you or given as a gift, request etc. but then you must not remove the credits. If anyone finds out that you
stole something, they might not come back. But good contents help. You need good skills in order to attract lots of visitors.
TIP #5 - Not many scrolling...
People can also get annoying and uncomfortable as their eyes have to follow and move around alot when you have scrolling contents on your page. It is okay
to put one or two but that should do. It can also get very messy for your layout/site look.
BUT REMEMBER...
It is never possible to impress everyone at the same time. Some will like it and some won't. Don't pressure yourself to make it better because someone don't
like your website. If you are impressed when you follow the tips above then it doesn't matter what others say. Don't take disadvantages personally.
