shadow

1. Start off with the text you want to shadowfy. It is best to have a background opposite the shadow color so you can see the shadow. Here is my example:

2. Go to effects >> 3D effects >> drop shadow
3. A window should open up like this. Now adjust the settings to your liking. Select a color and opacity. The more number you enter in for the 'Blur' box, it will look like a glowing text.
4. Do this as many times as you want depending on how much shadow/glow you want it to be.
